Born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire 1959.

Studied painting at Canterbury College of Art and Design graduating in 1987 with a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art.

Rented a studio in Faversham, Kent 1987 - 1990

Lived in London from 1990 - 2006 and rented a studio in Parade Mews, Tulse Hill.  Exhibited with various galleries around the country and had work accepted several times by the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Discerning Eye Exhibition, the New English Art Club, the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters at the Mall Galleries, London.  Worked part time as a gardener to support her painting and extensive travels to Nepal and India.  

Relocated to West Penwith in Cornwall in 2006 and has since worked as a full time painter.

Invited by selector Fred Cuming RA to exhibit six paintings in the 2008 Discerning Eye Exhibition and won the Regional Prize for the West Country, the same year a painting was accepted into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.  In 2009 a painting was selected for the Royal West of England Academy Exhibition.

Exhibits regularly with Panter & Hall, London.  Bircham Gallery, Holt, Norfolk.  Padstow Gallery, Padstow, Cornwall. The Jerram Gallery, Sherborne, Dorset.   The Wykeham Gallery, Stockbridge, Hampshire.
